Charlie Jimmerson, Ed.S
Director of Technology



I am a 1984 Graduate of Douglas High School. After high school I went to Snead State for two years and transferred to Jacksonville State University. I graduated in 1988 from JSU with a B.S. degree in Secondary Social Science Education. In 1996, I completed my Masters degree from the University of Alabama.  I followed that with an Educational Specialist degree in 2000 also from the University of Alabama.

From August 1989 to end of the 1994 school year I taught at Boaz High School teaching computers and History while coaching football, basketball, and track. From there I moved to Douglas Middle School teaching computers while also coaching football, basketball, and golf.

In October 2000, I was named Assistant Principal at Boaz Middle School.

In October 2004, I was named Director of Technology where I am currently still serving. In 2015, I picked up an additional duty as Library Media Supervisor. In 2016, I added attendance to my role.
