I graduated from Jacksonville State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education in 1992. I later returned to Jacksonville State to complete my Master of Science in Education in 1996. In 2000, I completed the coursework and exams to obtain my CompTIA A+ certification and Microsoft Certified Professional certification. I have worked with the Marshall County Board of Education for 23 years. I spent the first three years of my career working at the elementary level teaching computer classes and Title I Reading. I have spent the last 20 years working at the District level in the IT Department. I am a proud parent of two daughters that both teach within the Marshall County School District. I have three wonderful grandchildren that light up my life. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, camping, traveling and I am a huge college football fan.
