Substitute Workshop

A substitute workshop will be held on October 30, from 10:00 AM - Noon, at the Tech School in Guntersville (12312 US HWY 431). This is a required training for NEW substitutes, where the following topics will be covered:

• Job Opportunities for Substitutes
• Pay Schedule for Substitutes
• Board Policies / Misconduct
• How to Get on the Sub List
• Frontline Demo (Finding Sub Jobs)
• Expectations for Substitutes
• A Typical Day for a Substitute
• Substitute Tips / Classroom Management
• Documents Required to Substitute

We need substitutes! This training is FREE and is required for all substitutes who are new to Marshall County Schools. We need substitute teachers, nurses, bus drivers, teacher aides, lunchroom workers, custodians, and secretaries.
